In some countries : a tourist can be targetted specially if valuables objects (gold, watch, jewels..) or a significant amount of money have been displayed.

 

Don't drink too much and don't take any drug which can affect your mind and your vigilance. And of course, never go in unsafe locations : always ask advices to your hotel if you want to get out for dinner or at night.  Leave your valuables and money in the safety box of your hotel.

Also, be aware of some persons which will gain your trust by charm or conversation :  against your will, you might be drugged and loose your vigilance and you might awake without your valuables.   That kind of situation can also happen in your own country.
