MOLDOVA

Moldova, officially the Republic of Moldova is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe, bordered by Romania and Ukraine. Moldova declared independence in 1991 after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Chisinau is the capital and largest city of Moldova and is located on the river Bac, a tributary of the Dniester. Chisinau is very wealthy compared to the rest of the country, as Moldova is not a very rich country.
