SAFARI  - Wildlife - Birding - Peru - Rainforest

Amazonia Rainforest covers around 6 million square kilometres and sprawls across nine countries. It is hugely biodiverse, with some 10% of the species known to science calculated to be found there. Nearly one fifth of the Amazon rainforest has been cut down in the past 50 years. This is largely due to increased global demand for soya, beef and, more recently, biofuels.
