SAMOA Islands
Samoa is an Oceanian country encompassing the western part of the Samoan Islands in the South Pacific Ocean, and halfway between Hawaii and New Zealand. It became independent from New Zealand in 1962. The two main islands are Savai'i and Upolu where the capital city, Apia, and Faleolo International Airport are located.
Despite centuries of European influence, Samoa maintains its historical customs, social system, traditionnal way of life (Fa'a Samoa) and samoan language.
